La Palma by Bus
- Meeting point: 7:45 in the port of Los Cristianos (Fred Olsen's office).
- Duration: approximately 11 hours .
- Duration of the boat trip: 2 hours and 15 minutes .
- Departure from the port of Los Cristianos at 8:30 to reach the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma at 11:00 . You will return to the port around 16:30 to go out at five pm and arrive at the port of Los Cristianos at 19:30 .
- Fish menu: Grilled Palmero goat cheese with green mojo, grilled stoker with wrinkled potatoes and mixed salad, Canarian banana. Vegetarian menu: Grilled Palmero goat cheese with green mojo, sautéed euras with vegetables, wrinkled potatoes and mixed salad, Canarian banana.

Description:
The first stop will be in the capital to discover some of the most emblematic places, such as:
- The Virgin's Ship : a reproduction of the Santa María, on which Christopher Columbus discovered America. It was built in memory of the sailors from La Palma who left here in wooden boats from our mountains. Inside, there is a naval museum with nautical charts and reproductions of some of the boats made on the island.
- The Castle of Santa Catalina : one of the most important in Spain on the route to the Americas.
- The typical balconies : among the best preserved sets of balconies in the Canary Islands. Special mention for the double balconies built to ventilate the houses.
The next stop is the Mirador de la Concepción , located in the highest part of the Caldereta volcano, declared a “natural space”. From here, you can see the crater and the capital of the beautiful island. Then, you will continue towards the time tunnel, observing how the vegetation on the island changes, and you will head southwest, entering the area affected by the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
The next stop will be at exclusion zone of the Tacande district , where you will have a first view of the volcano. Then, you will go to Tazacorte, where you will see the youngest lava flows in Spain.
Lunch will be served in one of the typical restaurants in the area around 1:30 p.m. After lunch, from the port of Tazacorte, you will be able to see the fajana or lava delta .
